AlarmPeople was present at Interlift Nuremberg, where our colleague Andreas Andersen shared his insights from the “field.” Interlift Nuremberg is one of the world’s largest and most important trade fairs for elevators, building technology, and infrastructure solutions. It was therefore a natural choice for us to attend, showcasing our solutions and keeping up with the latest trends in elevator safety and communication.
Elevators are easy to take for granted, yet well-functioning and safe elevators form the backbone of both buildings and urban environments. They transport people and goods every day, and any malfunction can have serious consequences. At Interlift Nuremberg, it became clear how crucial reliable communication and safety are for elevator operations, and how modern solutions can prevent incidents, ensure rapid assistance, and enhance user experience.
SafeLine Nordic: Safety in Focus
A highlight of the fair was SafeLine Nordic’s booth. Their motto, “Your partner in lift safety,” underscores the essence of the event: safety, reliability, and innovation in elevators. Visitors could experience how advanced alarm and communication solutions provide security for both users and service personnel. SafeLine Nordic demonstrated solutions that ensure incidents are handled quickly, accurately, and efficiently – ultimately saving lives and building trust in building operations.
Andersen noted that many visitors were fascinated by how much technology and software can contribute to elevator safety. Elevators are no longer just mechanical systems; intelligent systems can prioritize alarms, guide users, and integrate with modern safety networks.
